The following policy describes how MATSC collects and uses information from visitors to this site
What Information May Be Collected
As a part of the grant funding, we are required to track and report access to certain content on this site. To do this, we ask that users register by providing their name, institution, address, phone number and email.
Use of Information
The information collected from you to set up an account is used to
- Report aggregated usage to the California Community Colege Economic and Workforce Development Program
- Track usage for MATSC-only purposes such as increasing content on frequently used topics, determining demographics of users, ensuring maximum response for peak usage times, etc.
- Respond to any requests you've made
- Notify you of any news alerts
Disclosure of Information
Your account is protected by a password you select. MATSC will not intentionally disclose your account information, or the e-mail address you provide, except to the extent necessary to process your request(s) or as required by law.
MATSC may publish aggregate information about visitors to specific parts of the website, for example the number of visitors from different geographic locations. This aggregate information will not include names, mailing addresses, or e-mail addresses of visitors.
Retention of Information
You may request that your account be closed at any time by notifying the Webmaster. We will not retain your account information after you close the account.
You may request that MATSC remove you from a subscription list(s) for e-mail news alerts at any time by notifying the Webmaster. After you have been removed from all subscription list(s), MATSC will not retain the e-mail address you provided in order to subscribe.
Changes in this Policy
Although no changes in this policy are currently contemplated, it is possible that the policy may change in the future. If you visit the website in the future, please check this portion of the site for any changes.
